The following terms and conditions pertain to SMS text messaging promotions sponsored by Tribune affiliates that send one or more text messages to your phone.

Unless otherwise indicated in the Tribune advertisement, SMS text messages are compliments of Tribune.
However, your carrier’s message & data rates may apply.

Messages for alert subscriptions will recur. The frequency depends on the particular subscription.
Upon subscribing to an alert, you will receive a text message noting how many texts you will receive per day or week. Sometimes a maximum number is given.
Sometimes the number of alerts depends on the frequency of breaking news.

For additional help, text HELP in reply to a text message you receive.

To cancel an SMS subscription, text STOP Keyword (Ex: STOP SPORTS) in reply to a text message you receive. To remove yourself from all SMS subscriptions on the short code please text STOP ALL. You may also text STOP to cancel if you don’t remember which lists you subscribed to, if any. You may receive subsequent messages clarifying or confirming your opt-out request.

SMS messages may be available to subscribers of your carrier. Please contact your carrier for availability details.
